The RRS Cinch-LR Binocular-Tripod Adapter allows you to quickly mount your binocular to a tripod. It’s designed to work with objective lens diameters between about 32 and 60mm – fitting OD’s between approximately 40 and 65mm.
The Cinch-LR utilizes a cam-lever clasp with an adjustable strap to secure the attachment to the binocular tube. The molded in QD base-plate is low profile and features rounded edges allowing it to be left on the binocular even when you’re not using a tripod because it still fits easily into most chest harnesses. The molded base-plate fits BOTH ARCA-Swiss and Manfrotto RC2 QD tripods so you can quickly attach & detach from most tripods. The Outdoorsman’s plate will not fit, but directly, but there is still a 1/4″-20 mounting socket on the bottom where you can adapt that style of plate or any other QD system of your choice. The Cinch-LR is polymer molded with a durable glass filled nylon, built from the ground up for maximum functionality, performance, ruggedness, ergonomic fit, and finish.
