Buy with confidence as their legendary durability, lifetime warranty, and jaw dropping optical performance ensure this will be the last set of binoculars you ever need.
Swarovski NL Pure 10×42
Swarovski's NEW NL Pure 10x42 - The revolutionary binoculars with the largest field of view to date and edges that seem to almost disappear. When you couple the immersive view with significantly reduced weight and revolutionary ergonomics, you get the best pair of binoculars in the world. The NL Pure provides a remarkable glassing experience for big game hunters. The 10X NL Pure is the perfect all around glass that you'll want in your bino harness for every hunt you take. The huge field of view and stunning clarity are just as relevant in the whitetail woods as they are in sheep country.
There’s been more hype around the release of the Swarovski NL pure than about any binocular I can recall since the Swarovski EL was released. It’s hard to believe it, but the NL pure actually lives up to, and in my opinion, exceeds the hype!!
The field of view of the NL series binoculars is not like the traditional round window you are accustomed to looking through with a binocular or spotting scope. The view is more oval shaped and better matches your eye’s natural field of view. The glassing experience is further enhanced because the typical black edge around the image almost disappears as you glass, so you’ll feel like you’re just looking around at the world with your own 10X vision. Just when I thought binoculars couldn’t really get any better, Swarovski has set a new benchmark that will force other companies to rethink their current designs.
I initially scoffed at the FRP padded forehead rest, but after using it on hand-held binoculars for just a few minutes, I realized how much it helped. I am an eyeglass wearer, and pushing the padded rest against my forehead prevents the binocular eyecups from pushing my glasses and forcing the lenses into my sweaty eyelids. I no longer have to constantly clean my glasses or suffer looking through smudged lenses and that’s a big win for me and all my fellow four-eyed brethren. It also eliminated a lot of pressure from the nose pieces on my glasses which makes glassing far more comfortable.
The comfort and stability added with this simple device is a significant innovation and makes it a must have accessory. It still adjusts out of the way or removes completely when using on a tripod. It does interfere slightly with most bino harnesses, but I am still able to close the lid and take them out and in without any trouble.
If you’re sensitive to rolling ball effect with field flattener lenses, I think you will find it very hard to pick up when panning with the NL pure. It’s not something that bothers me, but I notice it with the Swarovski EL’s. Perhaps the edges are so far out that it’s not noticeable to me with the NL Pure.
