This is the go-to camera for most of my travels.  It’s capable of professional quality prints and stunning video.  We have several outstanding lenses to pair it with.  It’s focus tracking is outstanding and it is a huge leap over previous Nikon DSLR’s for video.  Images out of the camera are outstanding and if you shoot RAW there’s miles of dynamic range to work with.  Nikon shooters will feel right at home with the controls and menus.  Even non-Nikon shooters can find their way around with relative ease.

If you’re shooting wildlife or sports, I recommend the Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/4.5 VR S Lens.  The best lens for landscape, architectural and trophy photos is the super wide zoom Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S lens.  The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 VR S lens is the defacto, all-around lens for travel, photojournalism, and event photography.  The venerable Nikon NIKKOR Z  70-200mm f/2.8 VR S is a fantastic zoom lens that works well for portraits, indoor action and motor sports, and moderate range wildlife photography.

I personally prefer the Z6 II over the Z7 because it has slightly better performance at higher ISO values (less noise).  While it doesn’t have the ultra-high resolution of the Z7 or Z9, it still has enough to produce massive studio-quality prints and burst rates that are like pulling the trigger on an Uzi!
