The Courthouse is a lightweight wall tent with dual center poles and 31″ side walls. Designed with cots in mind, the Courthouse offers a tremendous amount of usable space for its footprint. The side walls provide more room at the edges of the tent compared to a tipi. This shelter will fit 3 full sized cots, a stove and still have room in the front for gear and firewood.

It’s the perfect wall tent for animal packers looking to lighten their load or for your base-camp near the road or ATV trail. The courthouse is 75 pounds lighter and 1/10th the bulk of a canvas wall tent and still delivers the roominess and comfort you expect with a wall tent. The dual pole design maximizes standing room compared to a tipi, making this a great gathering tent for larger groups

The tent comes seam-sealed with 30 aluminum stakes (15 Twisted & 15 Standard), 100ft of Atwood reflective cordage already cut to length and attached, a full interior liner, and two aluminum poles.

The sod skirt is larger than on tipi tents and is made from burly 40d floor fabric. The rear vent features a large flap that can be tied out for airflow or tied down for weathering storms & retaining more heat. This tent features screen doors that can be tied back or left closed in lieu of the main doors for bug-free ventillation.

NEW For 2021: We now send this tent with 15 twisted stakes and 15 standard stakes. This change adds 14 oz to the total weight. If you decide to use your own stove you will need a 9′ stove pipe. We recommend pairing the XL or SXL Titanium Wood Stove with the Courthouse.
