Description
The Eolus is a 2-person “trekking pole” tent that’s big enough to sleep two men @ 6’5″ tall or two juvenile Sasquatch, each with their own door and vestibule. It’s designed to pitch with trekking poles, but we include two dedicated carbon poles if you prefer.
Catenary cuts minimize slack in the panels, ensuring a tight pitch that is very quiet in wind. Line-loc and cordage stakeouts give it a lot of adjustability, and make it easy to pitch. Innovative zipperless vestibule doors remove a failure point, save weight, and are easy to use.
The Eolus footprint features a central rectangle with a triangular vestibule on each end. This arrangement makes it easy to pitch and tension. It can be pitched tight to the ground in bad weather, or pitched higher for maximum airflow in hot weather.
We include the heavy duty 2P nest to provide an added barrier against bugs and condensation in wetter conditions. This versatile shelter gives you the ability to go light and floorless or take the nest for added protection against the elements and unwanted visitors. Seek Outside, doesn’t cut corners or compromise on materials to hit a weight target yet this thing boasts a minimum trail weight (w/o nest) that’s under a pound and a half! The canopy uses 30D cordura spec ripstop silnylon which is extremely waterproof (3000-4000 mm hydrostatic head).
The Eolus has a generous footprint and is tall enough to sit up in without hitting your head. It’s easy to pitch, quiet in wind, and very stormworthy.
