Description
Reach for the top with the LM-404C Summit Series Carbon Fiber Tripod from Leofoto. The 4-section support has 10x carbon fiber tubes that make the tripod a 5.5 lb lightweight support, with a strong load capacity of 88.2 lb. The 6061 aluminum parts are CNC machined and hard anodized, making the surface resistant to scratching and scuffing. The twist leg lock system is easily opened with a simple quarter turn, enabling all the sections to extend to a maximum height of 70.1″.
The LM-404C has three-position variable leg angles to allow the legs to splay completely out for a minimum height of 4.5″, and the independent leg spread provides the capability to level the tripod on uneven terrain. The Legs feature removable rubber feet, and a set of spiked feet are also included.
At the tripod’s apex, the spider has been hollowed out for reduces weight, but without sacrificing strength and durability. The mounting platform is removable, so it can be exchanged with the included 100mm video bowl to install a 100mm video head. An integrated 3/8″-16 socket is available on the side of the spider for attaching photo or video accessories by using accessory arms or studs, available separately. The tripod can be folded to a compact length of 24.8″ for storage or travel, and the included carrying case has extra room to fit a user-mounted tripod head.
